ford galaxy 2016

2016 Ford Galaxy redesign

As far as the exterior design goes, we already mentioned that it will be bigger, but the 2016 Ford Galaxy will also be freshened up. The front end of the car will come with a trapezoidal stripe grille and a lower nose. The windshield will be swept back and bigger, while the headlights will also be laid-back. In the back, there will be some new features as well, such as the Mondeo-like taillights, while the upright tailgate will be slightly redesigned

Styling – Interior and Exterior

As far as exterior design goes, besides getting bigger, 2016 Ford Galaxy will also get freshened up. Also influenced by the new lineup of Ford’s cars, Galaxy will get the trapezoidal stripe grille up front and should get the lower nose. Headlights will be laid-back and also swept-back windshield, will become bigger. Rear end will also get some new features, especially in Mondeo-like tail-lights, while the upright tailgate should remain similar.
7-seater’s interior won’t be radically changed in terms of material options and design as well. However, new angular flat-top dashboard might lose its sporty feel. Soft plastics will remain dominant throughout the cabin, while seats will be furbished either with cloth or leather upholstery. Touch screen and navigation aren’t standard and you’ll have to pay around $2,000 to get them both. Rear seat DVD entertainment system is also an option and features couple of small screens at the back of front-seat’s headrests. Cargo space is abundant, especially when rear seats are folded down. Thanks to the high driver position, and big windshield and tailgate window, outward visibility is good on both sides. Comfort is also held in high regard as Galaxy offers lots of adjustment for both the driver’s seat and the steering wheel.

2016 Ford Galaxy: Engines and Rumors

There are 2 engine options available for 2016 Ford Galaxy: diesel and petrol ones. Diesel 1.5 litres Inline 4 EcoBoost will deliver 180 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. A petrol 2-liter Inline 4 EcoBoost will make 230 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.
There are rumors about the third engine: diesel 2-liter TDCi with output of 270 lb-ft of torque and 180 horsepower. We’ll see at the New York show about the last one, but others will have 6 speed manual or automatic transmission. Drivers can choose between all-wheel drive and front wheel drive. There are also rumors about Ford not being planned to offer diesel engine in America, but for now no official information is on the Net.

ford expedition 2016

Exterior

Eighteen-inch aluminum wheels, a power liftgate and rain-sensing front wipers make the Expedition a car with both brains and beauty.
Halogen projector beam headlights are a standard feature across all 2015 Ford Expedition models whereas 20-inch aluminum wheels are standard on the Platinum, King Ranch, and Limited.
The new Expedition actually comes with Ford's PowerFold third-row seating. This feature essentially allows you to put the third row down for more storage or keep it up to take advantage of Ford's eight passenger seating capacity.

Interior

Woodgrain, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power locks and windows in addition to dual-zone climate control and nine cup holders placed throughout the Expedition make the ride very enjoyable.

Technology

The new Ford Expedition debuts with popular technology upgrades consumers are now demanding, including SYNC with MyFord Touch and driver-assist features such as radar-based Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert.
The updated interior of Expedition incorporates a fresh center stack to accommodate new technologies, such as an 8-inch touch screen for SYNC with MyFord Touch. The driver information cluster features two full-color 4.2-inch LCD screens.
Other new technologies on the 2015 Expedition include a 10-speaker, 700-watt Sony audio system; Intelligent Access with push-button start; rearview camera; seven-color, interior ambient LED lighting; and Ford truck apps to help make trailer towing and off-road driving easier.

Performance

Besides the new 2015 Ford Expedition being 55 HP more powerful than the 2014 Expedition, which had just 310 HP. The Ford Expedition is one of the fastest full-size SUV’s among its class competitors including the Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, and GMC Suburban. For instance according to CarandDriver.com the 2015 Expedition has a 0-60 time of 6.0 secs-6.8 secs, compared to the Chevy Tahoe, which is the only other full-size SUV, which can compete, with a 0-60 time of 6.8 seconds according to CarandDriver.com. And the 2015 Expedition’s top speed is 115 MPH, which is also pretty impressive for a vehicle of its size.

Engine

Under the hood of the new Ford Expedition you'll find a surprising amount of horsepower, low-end torque, towing capacity and traction control features.
The 2015 Ford Expedition features rear-wheel drive standard and an optional four-wheel drive traction control system. This feature can definitely come in handy in cooler climates where you're combating icy or slick road conditions and trying to haul thousands of pounds of cargo.
That said, the Ford Expedition still manages to get 365 horsepower and 420 pounds p

ford explorer 2016

interior

Next point is about the interior of 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. As you know that this car has large cargo and cabin and it is able to carry out seven passengers with its three rows arrangement. Unlike other rivals, the third row has capability to provide adults passenger. Likely third row, the second row has three person benches too. You are able to fold second and third row when you need more spaces for cargo. Other good news is that Ford removed the touch-sensitive system which usually found at previous Explorer with actual buttons for driver.

Exterior

Ford does not forget how to design SUV for their 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. We can see the signature silhouette of Explorer even on the highest trims. They also give some details on its body in order to make buyers happier. At the front, we can view the LED headlights as usual modern car. In addition, these LEDs have low-beam to avoid any accident in the dark situation. The bumper reminds us about Land Rover which has heavy materials on it. If you a new driver and afraid of parking lot, you can use front-view camera plus the parking sensors to give better.

Engine for 2016 Ford Explorer

The main goal of maintaining a four-cylinder engine is available to Explorer fuel. Ford is not ready to provide estimates, but says it should generate approximately the same figures as the current EcoBoost engine with an EPA rated 20/28 mpg city / highway. Incidentally, these figures are for front-wheel drive configuration, which was the only way I could buy the Explorer four-cylinder. Ford says it will not offer all-wheel drive with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost was a puzzle treatment for many customers, so now use the 2.3-liter EcoBoost. This stronger engine, which is followed by coupling with a six-speed automatic transmission, also allow tow up to 3000 pounds (in both models the front and all-wheel drive). Ford earned a bonus of $ 995 for the 2.0-liter EcoBoost (on the base model), so this should also be the case for the 2.3-liter engine. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost represented only 5 percent of total sales, so we expect the 2.3 is sold, thanks to its extra power, the all-wheel drive available and towing capacity.

ford flex 2016

2016 Ford Flex keeps a distinct square shape. It is made on Ford D4 platform, the five-door. We assume that it will certainly be a little simpler. Weight existing design is from 4439 to 4828 lbs (from 2013 to 2190 kg). It was made to be with alloy wheels from 17 to 20 inch. Wheelbase total up to 117.9 inches (2995 mm).
External dimensions are the same: the length of 201.8 inches (5126 mm), width of 75.9inches (1928 mm) and height of 68 inches (1727 mm). Integrated will certainly be a little broader chrome grille. Bumpers are partially freshened. Optionally offered automatic front xenon headlights and LED rear lights. Optional are provided and fog lights.

This full-size crossover SUV will be offered in three trim levels: SE, SEL and Limited. Offered with accommodation for seven passengers. Depending upon the trim level, the seats are upholstered in fabric or leather. It allows the heating of the very first order, and additionally heating up the rear seats.
The 2016 Ford Flex has a telescopic leather steering wheel. The control panel is equipped with a 4.2-inch LCD screen. At the center console will have an 8-inch touchscreen. This screen will MyFord Touch interface electronics. For rear passengers, it provides optional installation of two LCD screens. It is equipped with dual or 3 zone environment control.

Safety and MPG

2016 Ford Flex won’t get any new safety features, but today’s model is already quite advanced in this segment and is actually one of the safest family SUV’s on the market. Six airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability and traction controls, together with curve control and torque vectoring make the Flex’s standard safety options list. Rearview camera is standard only with the top model, and so are parking sensors. Blind-spot alert system and adaptive cruise control are also an option and they round up the advanced electronic safety features of a new Flex.

Ford Flex 2016 Engine and Performance

Engine wise, the new Ford Flex 2016 will certainly probably get a new base engine which will certainly replace the current aspirated V6. This will be the 2.3 liter turbocharged V6 with as much as 305 horse power and 300 lb-ft of torque, so the exact same amount of power as prior to however with around a 20 % much better fuel usage.
The top of the wide range V6 will be the same 3.5 liter as prior to however this time the fuel usage will be somewhat much better thanks to a brand-new engine management system and a more aerodynamic body. Both engines will certainly come as standard with front wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic gearbox with the alternative of getting a four wheel drive system on the turbocharged V6.

2016 Ford Flex Price

2016 Ford Flex should be available for prices in between $30,000 and $38,000, while possible hybrids would cost at least $5,000 more.
2016 Ford Flex could continue to roll as a vehicle with special status in blue oval’s lineup, but it would have to go through some changes. It is quite affordable for the family SUV, but still lacks the fuel economy ratings for a family vehicle. However, being a ful-size ute, even its direct competitors can’t really boast with better figures.

ford edge 2015

Interior Design and Special Features

The 2015 Edge's interior takes a significant leap forward. Soft-touch materials replace hard plastics on many surfaces. In fact, the dash, doors and center console are all soft to the touch from hip level and up. That means that just about every surface the driver interacts with has a quality feel. The exception is the center stack, which is hard plastic and features a series of round plastic buttons. It's an unexpected bit of cost-cutting that's out of character with the rest of the Edge's cabin.
The optional MyFord Touch interface carries over largely unchanged from the 2014 model. It features a large center screen on the dash and a pair of screens in the instrument cluster. The system is controlled by touch, two sets of small buttons on the steering wheel, or by voice commands. The system is certainly better than it used to be, though it still suffers from some small virtual buttons and mediocre response times. If touchscreen interfaces are important to you, check out the superior system in the Grand Cherokee. It's expected that Ford will roll out an all-new infotainment system (Sync 3) for the 2016 model year.
An additional 3.9 inches of length makes the Edge's already roomy interior even more spacious. Front-row occupants sit on supportive bucket seats, and an additional inch of rear legroom provides comfortable accommodations for adults riding in back. The Edge is also wide enough to make three-across second-row seating a viable proposition for families of five.
The extra length also improves cargo space. With the rear seats up, the Edge has a useful 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space available. With the seats down, that expands to 73.4 cubic feet. Both of those figures are at or near the top of the class.

Exterior & Styling

Where the original Edge was a bit monolithic and frumpy, the new Edge is sleek and looks fast. Cues from the rest of the modern Ford lineup are evident in the grille’s shape, the character line running down the body, and the taillights that look like they could’ve been lifted from the latest Ford Fusion. This is not a bad thing. The new Edge is a much more distinctive, attractive vehicle than the one it replaces, and it retains enough cues from the old model (such as the headlights connecting directly to the grille) that it’s not likely to be confused for a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport or the wildly styled new Murano. A choice of 18-, 20- or 21-inch wheels is available depending on model and trim, but gone are the big 22s due to noise, weight and warranty issues. They’re not likely to be missed, however, as the 21-inch wheels and tires fill the wheel wells without any problem. The Sport model gets slightly different styling from the SE, SEL and Titanium trims, with a body-colored lower bumper and side sills, and blacked-out trim instead of chrome. Overall, Ford stylists did a fantastic job with the new Edge, creating a modern, updated shape that is likely to please returning customers and attract new ones.

Safety

The new 2015 Edge has not yet been crash-tested.
All Edge models include a standard backup camera, first- and second-row side curtain airbags and a passenger knee airbag that deploys from the glove box. With the upgrade to an all-new chassis came the ability to dramatically increase the electronic safety content for the new Edge, and Ford has loaded it with every conceivable system available. Most of it is optional, of course, in extra-cost packages that are tied to specific trim levels. Option up the highest trim level with all of the available equipment and the list is long: lane departure warning; lane keep assist; adaptive cruise control with full stop and forward collision warning (with braking support); a 180-degree front-mounted camera with integrated washer; forward, side and reverse sensing systems; inflatable rear seat belt airbags; parallel and perpendicular park assist with park-out feature; and more. Have a look here to see what comes standard on the new Edge

Powertrains and Performance

The 2015 Ford Edge is available with one of three engines as well as either front- or all-wheel drive. All models come with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard on all but the Sport is a new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 245 hp and 275 pound-feet of torque. The EPA estimates that a front-wheel-drive Edge with the 2.0-liter engine will achieve 24 mpg combined (20 city/30 highway). That drops a bit to 23 mpg combined (20 city/28 highway) with all-wheel drive. An automatic engine stop-start function is optional for the front-drive, four-cylinder engine configuration to further save fuel.
SE, SEL and Titanium buyers can opt for a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 280 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy ratings for the 3.5 are 21 mpg combined (18 city/26 highway) with front-wheel drive and 20 combined (17/25) with all-wheel drive.
The Sport model comes exclusively with a 2.7-liter V6 engine. This turbocharged engine churns out 315 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The 2.7 is EPA rated at 21 mpg combined (18/27) with front-wheel drive and 20 mpg combined (17/24) with all-wheel drive.
The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine was not rated to tow in the last Edge, but it is now. It maxes out at 3,500 pounds when properly equipped, as do the 3.5-liter and 2.7-liter V6 engines.

If we compare the upcoming 2016 Ford Escape with its current model, we won’t be able to see many changes. Safety

Antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags, a driver knee airbag and full-length side curtain airbags are standard on the 2016 Ford Escape. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Escape a top score of "Good" in its moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact and roof-strength crash tests. The Escape's seat and head restraint design was also rated "Good" for whiplash protection in rear impacts, but it received the lowest score of "Poor" in the small-overlap frontal-offset crash test.

2016 Ford Escape engine

For the base model there will be 2.4 liter EcoBoost inline-four engine with ability to produce around 168 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque.  The higher trim will come with a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine able to deliver 178 horsepower and  184 lb-ft of torque.  And there is and the highest one – the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine capable to produce up to 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. All three engines are expected to come with at least 6 speed automatic transmission
